ESTS membership is for one year and begins on January 1st, ending on December 31st. If you are a speaker, respondent or chair at an ESTS conference payment of the membership fee in the year of the conference is obligatory, according to the bylaws of the ESTS, except for individuals specially invited. Members of ESTS are entitled to receive a copy of Variants, the yearbook of the European Society for Textual Scholarship.
